Singaporeans head to the polls on 10 July 2020. According to the Straits Times and Today Online, PAP vs PSP in West Coast GRC is one of the key contests to watch for the Singapore General Election 2020. Whether in the heat of electoral battle or after the election, nothing unites Singaporeans like the love for food. So while GE2020 has vaulted West Coast into the national limelight, we shine our spotlight on a few of the cool cafes and restaurants in West Coast GRC.
The West Coast Group Representation Constituency (GRC) comprised five divisions – Ayer Rajah, Boon Lay, Nanyang, Telok Blangah and West Coast. The GRC along the South-Western waterfront of Singapore includes the areas of Dover, Jurong, Pasir Panjang and also covers Jurong Island and Sentosa. West Coast may be mistakenly considered a poor cousin of East Coast when it comes to food. However, the reality is that there is no lack of cool cafes and restaurants in West Coast.
