Coconut Club Nasi Lemak – Michelin Bib Gourmand lunch at its new restaurant

Coconut Club moved into new and bigger premises up the road – 28 Ann Siang Road in early August 2019. I think it is still not big enough. Coconut Club is a famous nasi lemak restaurant that caught the attention of Singapore and international foodies when it was reported as the restaurant where PM Lee Hsien Loong hosted visiting Philipines President Duterte for lunch. It is listed as a Bib Gourmand restaurant in the Singapore Michelin Guide 2018.

Restaurant with affordable wine – Wine & Chef revisited

We were at Wine & Chef when it first opened two years ago and were impressed by the quality of food and its selection of low cost wines. We remember it as a restaurant with affordable wine. Its recent one-day 50% discount off food promotion made us return to this restaurant at Keong Saik Road once again.

Olivia Restaurant & Lounge – New Spanish restaurant at Keong Saik Road, Singapore

Olivia Restaurant & Lounge is a new Spanish restaurant that opened at Keong Saik Road, Singapore earlier this year. It is helmed by chef and co-founder, Alain Devahive who apparently had experience in Michelin starred restaurants, including the famous el Bulli Restaurant, and held the role of Executive Chef for Catalunya Hong Kong and Singapore. The restaurant is named after his daughter, Olivia.
