DBS Private Access Lounge Changi Airport T3 and another one at T2 are plush places for qualifying customers of DBS Bank to rest and relax before their departing flights from Changi Airport.

I was not able to discover more details from the two links provided. But it seems from the link that the qualifying customer can bring in two accompanying guests to the DBS Private Access Lounges at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3 and Terminal 2. Hence, my eligibility to gain access was via my generous host who accompanied me on this occasion to the DBS Private Access Lounge Changi Airport T3. This facility was previously known as the Changi Airport Asia Treasures lounge. You can read about our visit to the T2 Asia Treasures (as it was then known as) lounge here.
DBS Private Access Lounge Changi Airport T3
Unlike the one at T2 which has an enclosed space, the DBS Private Access Lounge at level two of T3 has an open plan, with one side getting a clear view of the surroundings below. It has a tranquil yet exposed to the going-ons at the airport. Very nice.
A good spread of food and drinks await the fortunate DBS customers (and their lucky guests) who get access to Private Access.
A gleaming selection of alchohlic and non-alcoholic cold beverages beckon behind closed glass doors.
On the day of my visit, a varied and interesting selection of food was served. The most beautiful dish was the capellini with grilled prawns.
Here are pictures of the some of the items on display : roti jala with chicken curry, tenderloin beef pho, nasi lemak with beef rendang and carrot.
What we ate at DBS Private Access Lounge Changi T3
The capellini and grilled prawns was the clear winner that day. It tasted as good as it looks and will not be out of place at a fine dining restaurant in Singapore.
We also tried two Asian dishes beef pho and laksa. They are of the standard you find in the Asian section of the menu of a luxurious hotel coffee house in Singapore. Very good taste and full of ingredients.
Drink of choice was champagne, in between water and juices.
Dessert and Coffee
The last part of our meal was clearly the weakest link of our fine experience at the DBS lounge at Changi. The desserts were ordinary and coffee was weak with cocoa powder sprinkled on top of the cappuccino in a clumpy mess. To my kind host who might be reading this story, I will be most happy to be invited again despite these minor matters.
