Mensho X launches its second Singapore location at Resorts World Sentosa’s Weave Mall on 1 November 2025. The outlet debuts exclusive tantan mochimen dishes created by chef Tomoharu Shono. This marks the brand’s expansion three months after opening at Raffles Place in July 2025. Mensho X Sentosa seats 36 diners indoors and 12 in the al fresco area.

New menu items exclusive to Sentosa outlet
The Mensho X Sentosa menu differs from the Raffles Place branch. Two tantan mochimen dishes are available only at this location.

The Wagyu Tantan Mochimen costs $26. It features thick noodles made from mochi wheat, served without soup. The dish includes Japanese wagyu chashu, bok choy, semi-dried tomato, smoked nuts, red onions and Sichuan pepper. The noodles are simmered in an ice bath before being mixed with vegan peanut and sesame base.
Vegan Tantan Mochimen is priced at $20. It replaces meat with charred cauliflower whilst retaining the same noodle base and seasonings.
Chef Shono imports the mochi wheat from farms in Iwate and Hokkaido prefectures. The flour blend took multiple rounds of development to achieve the desired chewy texture. Each tantanmen order comes with complimentary Hokkaido Nanatsuboshi rice.
Core ramen offerings
Mensho X Sentosa serves three main ramen varieties. Yuzu Shio Ramen ($23) uses a double soup base made from bonito, clam and pork, layered with chicken broth. Toppings include sake kasu-marinated pork ribeye chashu, yuzu chicken chashu, semi-dried tomato, spinach and king oyster mushroom menma.

Organic Shoyu Ramen is priced at $20. It features barrel-aged organic shoyu with the same double soup base. The bowl contains pork ribeye chashu, yuzu chicken chashu, spinach and mushroom menma over thin house-made noodles.
Signature Toripaitan costs $27. This bowl uses wavy whole-wheat noodles in a light creamy chicken broth. It includes three types of chashu: sake kasu-marinated pork ribeye, Japanese wagyu and yuzu chicken. An ajitama egg tops the bowl.
The toripaitan broth differs from Mensho Tokyo’s version. Mensho X uses a lighter base infused with shiitake mushrooms, porcini mushrooms and kelp.
Side dishes and snacks
The Mensho X Sentosa menu includes several side dishes. Negi Yuzu Chicken Chashu Rice Bowl ($8.50) features sliced chicken chashu on Hokkaido rice with green onions, yuzu peel and nori. It comes with chilli paste, tare sauce and sesame oil.
Crispy Ama-Ebi costs $8. The dish consists of deep-fried Japanese sweet shrimp served with Japanese aioli. Crispy Fried Tako Calamari is priced at $8.50.

Mentaiko Takoyaki costs $8.50. Each ball contains octopus pieces and is topped with nori, bonito flakes and mentai mayo.
