Little Greek Taverna Brisbane is a casual Greek restaurant in the West End suburb. From a distance it reminded us of zi char restaurants in Singapore. The packed tables in the small indoor, non-airconditioned space spills out onto the roadside pavement. The no-frills, good food and low price attitude at Little Greek Taverna is similar to that at the better zi char restaurants in Singapore.
Zorba The Greek Taverna is a relatively new restaurant at Clarke Quay, having opened in late 2019. This Greek restaurant is located along the Singapore River, near the Liang Court mall. With the current virus concerns we thought that the open air restaurant was a suitable place for an early dinner.
Blu Kouzina at Dempsey Hill is often a name that pops up when discussing which are the top Greek restaurants in Singapore. It is a restaurant we have been quite a few times. What we are most impressed by them is the consistency of the food. Whether lunch or dinner, we have not been disappointed. They have recently expanded their premises and have spilled over to the unit next door. We stopped by to see if anything has changed.
Pano Kato Grill, Pizza and Deli is a new restaurant in Tanglin Mall (level 2). It is another project by the owners of the House of AnLi Store and Bistro which is also located in Tanglin Mall but on a floor above. According to their website, Pano Kato (Πάνω Κάτω) means ‘Upstairs Downstairs’ in Greek. Pano Kato serves Mediterranean cuisine.
