According to the VivoCity website, Kagurazaka Saryo – is an old and cozy coffee shop in the small back street of Kagurazaka, called “Little Kyoto” in Japan. To be honest, what attracted us to Kagurazaka Saryo VivoCity (神楽坂茶寮) was the beautiful display of colourful cakes. It seems that Fruit Paradise has been merged into this restaurant specialising in meals and desserts made with Japanese tea, matcha.
Tapas Club VivoCity is a relatively new restaurant at the popular shopping mall near HarbourFront MRT station. It opened at the beginning of 2019 and takes over the space that was vacated by another Spanish restaurant – Serenity. The new Tapas Club VivoCity enjoys the same spacious layout and the sea view towards Sentosa as its predecessor.
Morganfield’s VivoCity is one of the four outlets of Morganfield’s in Singapore. They are known for their American BBQ prime pork ribs which they call “Sticky Bones spare ribs”. But that was not what attracted me to have lunch there recently. It was the “Top Value Set Lunch” sign.
Still searching for Chulove? It is located at level one of VivoCity. Chulove Cafe takes up part of the space formerly occupied by Spanish restaurant Serenity which has closed. From a distance, Chulove Cafe beckoned us to check it out with a fresh, bright look. Its main attraction is the Spanish snack, churros which, according to their website, are “… made fresh to order with an authentic Spanish recipe”.
Paradise Teochew VivoCity is the latest new restaurant by the Paradise restaurant group. It is located in a quiet corner of level 1 of Vivo City (it is the last unit along the side facing Sentosa and furthest away from Harbourfront). Yet it was a full house when we were there. I think the opening promotion which is on till 7 Dec 2018 might have contributed to it. Please see photo below for details.
