Brunch at Bakerzin Vivo City (Closed)

Dessert cafe Bakerzin has been in business since 1998. One of their earliest outlets was at Millenia Walk where I could still remember revelling in their French pastry creations. Things have changed since then. That outlet no longer exists and Bakerzin has expanded to six outlets in Singapore. Their menu range has also expanded and they offer a variety of cafe food like burgers and pasta. We had a simple brunch at BakerZin Vivo City branch recently. It is a branch which is in close proximity to people on the West Coast and Sentosa.

The Chop House Vivo City

According to Wikipedia, a “chop house” is a restaurant that specializes in steaks and chops. The name of The Chop House Vivo City restaurant is direct and straight to the point. Meat dishes feature prominently in their menu. Chope House Vivo City is run by the Wooloomooloo Group which has two other steakhouses in Singapore under the Wooloomooloo brand. The Chop House is a more casual style of restaurant which has branches in Hong Kong (Tsim Sha Tsui) and Singapore (Katong and Vivo City).

Malaysian Food Street RWS – affordable food in Sentosa

The Casino and Universal Studios are the main attractions of Singapore integrated resort, Resorts World Sentosa.  Another attraction, which is more appealing to us, is the wide collection of dining options. In addition to the celebrity restaurants with multiple Michelin Stars, there are some affordable food places at RWS. The Malaysian Food Street RWS is one of them.

Bayswater Kitchen Singapore on Keppel Island

Bayswater Kitchen Singapore is a new restaurant by the Prive Group on Keppel Island. It takes over the premises that previously housed the Prive Grill. Prive Keppel Bay, a casual cafe is still there, right before the entrance to Bayswater Kitchen.

Forest Restaurant 森 RWS Sentosa by celebrity chef Sam Leong

Forest Restaurant RWS Sentosa is a restaurant in the Equarius Hotel, Resorts World Sentosa. Led by celebrity chef Sam Leong,  Forest is a 2017 Michelin Guide restaurant. They had a one-star award in 2016. According to the Forest 森 website, it “prides itself on contemporary Chinese fine cuisine that goes beyond the familiar”. The Equarius Hotel is located in a remote corner of RWS, some distance away from the main activities like the Casino, Universal Studios and the other hotels  – Festive, Crockford and Hard Rock Cafe.

Quayside Isle Restaurants @ Sentosa Cove

Feb 2017 Update:  We have been informed that Kith Cafe, Brussels Sprouts, Saint Pierre and &MADE Burger Bistro are no longer at Quayside Isle @ Sentosa Cove. 

During our recent visit to the Quayside Isle restaurants at Sentosa Cove, we found that it was a very pleasant place to have a meal,  next to the Sentosa Cove marina. Visiting the restaurants at Quayside Isle during weekdays can be even more rewarding because of some promotional deals. We share with you the photos that  we took of the restaurants and portions of their menus.
